With the withdrawal of several of the weaker clubs NEL'S U12's were moved up a division to begin life as the U13's in Division 3. In the opening match a good point was won away to Tingley who finished 3rd in the real 3rd division the previous year. A loss to Garforth was followed by a draw against Leeds City when we were by far the better side,

The highlight of November was a fine 2-0 victory against eventual runners up Yorkshire amateurs. January brought a 1-0 loss against the ammers followed by a loss against eventual champions Gipton of the odd goal in 7 with the Gipton goal under siege at the end of the game. A short run of losses ended with the double been done over Wigton Moor. Leeds City then came from 2 down to beat us when once again we were the better side. The end of March brought the best performance of the season with a 3-0 win over Tingley who never had a shot. This was followed by a good win over Glen Juniors and a close loss to Amaranth. Final game of the season was a goalless draw against Glen.

  Overall the boys drooped too many points in draws that should have been wins and odd goal losses were they could have done better. They proved the can push the top teams and with renewed effort may have a good season in 2011/2012.
