NOTICE BOARD
Kit Return (22/06/2009)

Please can players bring thier match kit (blue Football Foundation shirts, red shorts & red socks) back to training as we are having a new kit for the 2009/10 season.

Matchday availability (26/05/2009)

If a player becomes unavailable for a match (illness, holidays planned at short notice, parent/guardian not available) it is important that parents/guardians let Laura know as soon as possible on 07745 164 108. Please do not just not turn up for the match.

Players who repeatedly do not turn up for training or matches without letting us know beforehand will not be selected for matches.

If a player does not turn up for a match and hasn't let us know that they are unavailable the team may be left with insufficient players or last minute changes may need to be made. Players not turning up for matches let their teammates down and miss out on opportunities to play football and have fun with their friends.

This is particularly important for the galas over the summer as we can only take a small squad of players to each gala.

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
