NOTICE BOARD
Under 8's Girls (04/01/2008)

Dear U8 Bluebell girls and Parents,

I am just writing to apologise regarding my absence for the next three training sessions. Due to University commitments, I am out of the country on work experience. Furthermore, Gemma is on placement in her home town and will be unable to attend.

However, training will still be on and the girls will be looked after by top coaches and qualified managers of other teams. Due to my absence, I will not be able to give the girls their training kit, nevertheless, as soon as I return on the 29th, I will be able to hand them out. Sorry for any inconvenience.

To add to this, when I return, I will be organising some friendly games with local teams and so I look forward to seeing you very soon and beginning to play some matches!

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and Gemma and I wish you a very happy New year.

If you have any further questions or queries, do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for your understanding,

Zoe Smith

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
